Calling all Vocalists!!! The Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival is looking
for you! We want to hear your voices and see if you have what it takes to
perform on the Bank of America Theatre Stage at the Eisemann Center during
Wildflower! May 15-17, 2009.
All you have to do is prepare one song from memory and bring an
accompaniment tape/cd. You may also use an acoustic guitar or bring an
accompanist for the piano. Please choose appropriate lyrics for a family
oriented festival performance. Songs should be limited to 3 minutes. Small
vocal ensembles (2-4) singers may also enter this year. NO Bands, but watch
for information on the Battle of the Bands registration! Read
carefully and arrange to audition on the date that works for your age group.
- Sunday, March 8, 2009 for ages 3 through grade 6 beginning at 1:00
pm
- Sunday, March 29. 2009 for 7-12 grades beginning at 1:00 p.m
Auditions will be held at the Senior Center, 820 W. Arapaho in
Richardson

Students will be notified of the outcome no later than April 15, 2009.
Students will compete by age groups with students from all age
categories going on to perform during the Wildflower! Festival on
Sunday, May 17, 2009.
The 5 Categories:
- Seedlings Pre-school – Kindergarten
- Sprouts Grades 1-3
- Buds Grades 4-6
- Jr. Wildflowers! Grades 7-9
- Wildflowers! Grades 10-12
To be eligible to enter you must meet the age requirements and ONE of the eligibility
requirements:
- Reside in Richardson, or
- Attend school in the Richardson Independent School District,
or live in the RISD attendance area
- Attend a private school located in Richardson and
- Be 3 years to current 12th grade
